HERITAGE MEETS CONTEMPORARY - SULWHASOO / Part. 1

Short, snackable content has long been on a steep rise in the current, ever-changing digital landscape, and brands today are hyper-focusing on keeping pace with it.

Sulwhasoo, of course, is no exception. They came to us last June with a revolutionary vision to modernize and “rebloom” its branding to attract a younger audience, all the while preserving its inherent focus on heritage.

With baekja (the Korean traditional white porcelain) as the motif, they’ve completely revitalized the design of their signature bestseller, First Care Activating Serum 윤조에센스, and it was up to us to capture and showcase all of the product’s beauty as well as its celebrated prestige in a series of short-form content.

Baekja is widely noted for its minimalist, sleek, and poise aesthetics - a time-transcending beauty that immediately captures the heart - and it was our hope to create something that could evoke the same feelings in our audience.

Indeed, this project series carries exceptional meaning. It officially signifies a huge milestone in Sulwhasoo’s long history, taking its brand identity to an absolute new level.

Of course, this journey was nothing but enthralling for us as well, to play a role in the Sulwhasoo’s momentous and transformative new chapter.

This marked only the beginning of more exciting projects to come in the next following months. Stay tuned to hear more updates!

See you in the next post.
